Your key is encrypted on the server and used only for your transcriptions. You can remove it here. OpenAI bills your API account directly.

Get the Dots converts readable Western staff notation into PDF, LilyPond and MIDI. Review all generated music before relying on it; transcription can contain mistakes.

Google provides your account identifier, name and verified email to sign you in. Your uploads and results are private to your account. Pages and transcription instructions go to OpenAI for processing. Stripe handles card details; this site receives payment confirmation and keeps a credit ledger.

A personal API key is stored encrypted on the server and never returned to the browser. You can remove it in Account. We keep source pages and results for 30 days, then remove the files. Account and payment records are retained to operate the service.

One free transcription is available per account per UTC calendar month, up to four pages, subject to processing capacity. Credits cover one source page each. Failed and rejected jobs restore credits or the free allowance. Personal-key requests may still incur OpenAI charges. Only upload music you have the right to transcribe. Don’t use the service to submit unrelated material or automated bulk traffic.
